SUMMARY:December Bokamoso Holiday Art Programme
DESCRIPTION:Future Africa is proud to collaborate with the Javett Art Centre at the University of Pretoria (Javett-UP) to present the Bokamoso Holiday Art Programme from 1–5 December 2025. If you have bright young science and art enthusiasts aged 7–15\, this programme is for them! \nOn Thursday\, 4 December\, the programme will take place at the Future Africa Campus\, where participants will embark on an art–science adventure\, exploring the gardens and gathering inspiration and natural materials for their sculpture painting project. Inspired by the Colossal Time theme in Javett-UP’s One and the Many exhibition\, the programme encourages children to explore their connection to the natural world. This will be facilitated by Dr Nicola Grobler\, artist and senior lecturer in Fine Art at the School of the Arts\, University of Pretoria. \nTo fully enjoy and participate in all activities\, we recommend signing up for the full five-day programme. \nPROGRAMME ACTIVITIES \nMonday: Introduction to sculpting – begin constructing armatures. \nTuesday: Meditation\, music\, and art – complete armatures and cover sculptures. \nWednesday: Art process making on Monumentality and Monuments. \nThursday: Visit to Future Africa Campus to explore the gardens and gather inspiration and materials for sculpture painting (Drop off & Pick up point at Future Africa). \nFriday: Sculpture painting and final presentations. \n  \nThe programme will run daily 1-5 December 2025\, 09:00-13:00.
