My work involves genetic engineering and biotechnology research institute, Immunology Laboratory. My current project is to research a new method of cancer treatment by using a combination of two Antisense LNA Gapmers to target the Telomerase enzyme and prevent the formation selectively in cancer cells of the kinetochore/centromere complex which is required to segregate chromosomes during division.
