Karoline is a Ph.D. student in the project “Processes for Sustainability Transformation”. The inter- and transdisciplinary project located at Leuphana University Lüneburg in Germany combines 12 Ph.D. students conducting research on drivers and barriers to transformation processes towards sustainability. The title of her Ph.D. is “Local Food Systems in Transition. Local Food Systems for Transition. Spaces of Identity Work”. Here she focuses on group processes of different local food initiatives taking the tenet “Food creates Identity” as the basic hypothesis for her project. Karoline’s background is in Environmental Science and Public Management. She studied her Masters, Environmental Communication and Management, in Uppsala,
