Dr Assani Seidou Alassan

Work and Research
I am a zootechnician agronomist and holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Parakou in 2017. I am Teaching Assistant and researcher at the Laboratory of Ecology, Health and Animal Production of the University of Parakou (Republic of Benin). My research covers the field of livestock science (feeding-animal nutrition, valorization and conservation of local animal breeds), breeding system modeling (Livestock Production System and Pastoralism), and climate change (adaptation and mitigation measures for livestock production systems). Thus, I am interested in the improvement of animal production systems to reduce the enteric methane and increase the carbon sequestration in soil in the natural rangelands of cattle herds.
