Work and Research

As a pharmacist, holder of a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (ULB, 2005-2010), I am a Full Professor in Pharmacognosy. In my research career, my efforts have been mainly focused on ethnomedical, ethnobotanical and ethnopharmacological investigations related to Guinean pharmacopoeia and traditional medicine. These investigations have resulted in the collection of numerous plant-based recipes widely used in the treatment of malaria, diabetes, hypertension, and HIV. My work has been presented at numerous national and international conferences and has been the subject of more than 24 publications in national, regional and international journals.
