Work and Research
My research agenda touches upon the realms of doctoral education and the implementation of education policies/interventions in Africa. Under the first research focus, I co-authored an article on the role of social networks in the transitional experiences of international African doctoral students at one university in South Africa. The article is due for publication in the Higher Education Research and Development Journal. I have also been collecting data for a project to examine the re-entry adjustment experiences of academics returning to Zambian universities following their PhD studies oversees.
