Biodiversity, climate and sustainable agriculture in Africa; with a special focus on drylands, including South Africa's Karoo. I also teach introduction to climate change; and climate change-biodiversity interactions at the third year level.
My students mainly work in my two field sites - the Waterberg, in South Africa's Limpopo Province, and in the Karoo region.
