Ms June Serem

Work and Research
My research career began in my BSc (hons) in Anatomy specialising in Cell Biology but only became visible to the scientific world with the publication of my MSc thesis and an article resulting from this thesis in 2012. This article was published in an ISI journal (academic journals published by the Institute for scientific information) with an impact factor of 3.3 and went ahead to win first prize best research paper non-clinical research in the annual Faculty of Health Sciences prize giving day. This motivated me to further my qualifications with a PhD.
