Work and Research
I am a biomedical scientist, with a research experience zoonotic infectious diseases in Tanzania. I worked with arboviruses of public and veterinary importance particularly on Rift Valley fever in my PhD research for the past five years. I worked with the vaccine testing in livestock as well as surveillance of the viruses in seasons with no reported outbreaks in Tanzania. I also work with bacteria and recently I am engaged with Antimicrobial resistance projects. However, I also intend to conduct some research works on SARS -CoV-2 and related research works within and beyond the region.
