My vision for the future of research at UP and how I will contribute to this development

Despite the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) provision for the child’s right to be heard, little has been done to facilitate student participation when decisions pertaining to their education are made. It is my vision to drag the balance between theory and practice. This I believe to be achievable only if students can be more involved in research both as co-researchers and participants as well as in policy crafting and implementation.
