Work and Research
I am interested in disease research at a molecular level. I am more interested in gynecological and breast cancers research. I am mostly fascinated by how molecular biology has allowed scientists to decipher cellular biological processes that potentially govern disease formation and progression. With such understanding, one is able to identify the likely cause of a disease and come up with an effective therapeutic/preventative strategy. My current research focuses specifically on the discovery of anticancer strategies that are more effective, affordable and readily accessible to cervical cancer patients in the developing southern Africa.
