Work and Research
I am a bioinformatics researcher at the University of Pretoria. I have a wealth of experience in the bioinformatics arena having obtained a PhD from the South African Nationa Bioinformatics Institute and a postdoctoral fellowship at Karolinska Insitute in Sweden. I have also worked as a consulting intern with the informatics team at Illumina headquarters, one of the world's leading DNA sequencing companies.
