Work and Research
I completed my PhD at the University of Pretoria in June 2013. I am currently a research fellow at FABI, University of Pretoria. My research interests include fungal taxonomy, population genetics and the genetic basis of fungal mating systems with special emphasis on the evolution of homothallism and heterothallism in ascomytetes. I have published30 research papers in ISI rated journals. Together, these papers have accumulated over 2000 citations.
