Work and Research
Currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, Egypt and a postdoc Researcher at INRA, France.
I am an international academic and consultant with an entrepreneurial spirit.
I have a Ph.D. in plant Breeding and Genetics from Colorado State University, USA, M.Sc in Plant Biotechnology from Wageningen University, the Netherlands and B.Sc in International Agriculture from Cairo University, Egypt.
My two main areas of experience are Lignocellulosic biomass and drought tolerance. My research focus is in the plant breeding, genetics and biotechnology.
I have more than ten years of professional expertise in the field of Life Sciences (International Agriculture/ Agribusiness and Biotechnology) in academia and industry.
