Organizations are the cause of employee burnout. Burned out employees are emotionally and physically exhausted, detached and ineffective. But this could be prevented before it occurs. If it occurs, it could be treated.Organizations can do a lot in the prevention and treatment of burnout. The first measure is diagnosis. This will be followed by burnout interventions (treatments and prevention). In my doctoral thesis, I measured the burnout levels of Ethiopian teachers. In my doctoral thesis, I measured the burnout levels of Ethiopian teachers. I found that more than 75 per cent of teachers were experiencing a high level of burnout. This was the diagnostic phase of the project.
