Emmanuel Unuabonah

I played a leading role in the establishment of Nigerian Young Academy which is currently playing a leading role in inspiring young scientist in Nigeria through her various activities and programme. In 2013, I started a research group in the University and as the leader of this group we have been able to develop research proposals, one of which have been granted to the group by TWAS while awaiting the outcome of others. Furthermore, the Research group recently won the Dhirubhai Ambani Chemical Engineering Innovation for Resource-Poor People Award category at the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Global Awards, November 2014. In addition to these I am involved in mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of applied Chemistry.
