Dr Ifeanyi Onwuzuruigbo
Work and Research
Ifeanyi Onwuzuruigbo, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, holds a doctorate degree in Sociology. Currently, he is a Post-doctoral Fellow of the Early Career Research Leader Fellowship (ECRLF) of the University of Pretoria, South Africa. His area of specialty is Political/Development Sociology. However, his research interest straddles the nexus of security and development as well as peace and conflict studies. Dr Onwuzuruigbo's fellowship years at the Future Africa Campus, University of Pretoria, will be devoted to researching the phenomenal growth of Herders/Farmers conflicts in West Africa from the Nigerian perspective.
