Work and Research
My PhD research assessed equity of access to Essential Health Package (EHP) in Malawi mainly looking at uptake of maternal health services. Results of this study present valuable information and recommendations for policy implications to improve equitable access to EHP services besides providing information for learning experiences to other countries on delivery and use of the EHP. At the Malawi Collge of Medicine I am involved in a number of research projects which the college is doing. I also teach research courses for undergraduate and post-graduate students, and supervise their projects.
