Dr Kgadi Mathabathe

Work and Research
Dr Kgadi Mathabathe is the head of community based research and postgraduate studies at the University of Pretoria’s Mamelodi campus. Dr Mathabathe holds a PhD in Science Education from the University of Pretoria’s Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. Dr Mathabathe has vast experience of international research collaboration. She is the alumna of the 2016 Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Mandela Washington Fellowship, a six week flagship programme of Barack Obama. She has also been listed as the Mail and Guardian, top 200 young South African under the Education category. In 2014 she was awarded the University of Pretoria teaching excellence and innovation award.
