Dr Khoboso Lehloenya obtained her doctorate in animal production at the University of the Free State in 2008. She lectured at that university for four years before joining TUT as a lecturer, soon being promoted to a senior lecturer. Dr Lehloenya is a reproductive physiologist and her research interest is the utilisation of assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs). She did most of her research in goats’ ARTs such as oestrous synchronisation, artificial insemination, multiple ovulation and embryo transfer. She is also involved in the freezing of the semen of farm animals and in vitro fertilisation, and has refereed and peer-reviewed numerous articles in journals on these and related topics.
