Work and Research
I am a Lecturer, optometrist and sight saver, with a strong passion for research aimed at prevention of blindness. My research focuses on Age-Related Eye Disease, Clinical trials, Epidemiology, and Ocular Nutrition. I have worked on multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research teams, and have collaborated with both industry and academia on different projects. I aspire to be a Professor and Consultant in Vision Science, supporting research projects across the world. Given that my research is in the field of Health, l hope my research contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (especially Goal 3 – Good Health and Well Being).
