My research focus is on sustainable use of land resources. I am currently part of the academic team carrying out research on land use and land cover changes in rural areas of Zimbabwe. We are focusing on analyzing changes in land use patterns; investigating different biophysical and socioeconomic factors that are driving change in land use patterns; investigating sustainability of the current land use change patterns; as well as predicting future land use patterns in these communal areas.
