The broad field of my current scientific interest is molecular and biochemical Pharmacology, with emphasis on biological activities of small molecules from medicinal plants against malaria and cancer using a combination of computer based computational methods and in vitro and in vivo biochemical and molecular approaches.
The integral component of the current research focus involves seeking to understand the biochemical and molecular mechanisms underpinning the pharmacotherapeutic potentials of these small molecules against malaria and cancer for drug discovery.
