Work and Research
My research focus areas are public policy and development, sustainable development goals, local government, localisation and rural municipalities and South African social security policies. I am currently completing Masters research exploring topic titled "Localising the Sustainable Development Goals in Rural Municipalities through Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships: A case study of Nkandla Local Municipality". I hold much research interest on localising the SDGs with an idea to achieve sustainable development towards agenda 2030, using multi-stakeholder partnerships. Literature has revealed that different stakeholders are key for achieving the SDGs to meet agenda 2030.
