I am an Associate Professor of Parasitology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD). My interest is Parasitic disease with a focus on antimalarial drug resistance and the impact and immunity development. I had look at the the potential impact of seasonal malaria chemoprevention on drug resistance and immunity development in children under 10 years old. I am also interested on the Development of Non -invasive Malaria Parasite DNA Sampling Strategy for Surveillance in Resource Limited Settings in Senegal.
More recently i have an interest on Neglected Tropical Disease. For NTDs i am interested on innovative diagnostic tools such as molecular biology technics ( multiplex PCR, qPCR) for schistosomiasis and soil helminth parasites.
