Research Profiles

My contribution to science and its impact on society

During my employment, I have contributed up to 18 peer-reviewed publications. The findings from these papers have contributed to knowledge on immune response to vaccines and the influence of maternal and infant factors on infant response to vaccines, with a potential to influence practice and policy on the use of existing and newly developed vaccines in developing countries with high prevalence of infections. I have presented posters at national and international meetings. This has enabled me to share the results of my research findings, and opened possibilities of networking and collaborating with other scientists.
