Africa–Asia Platform for Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation

The Africa–Asia Platform for New Private and Public Partnership Initiatives (A–A Platform Project) promotes collaboration between Africa and Asia to strengthen youth skills development, entrepreneurship and innovation. Through partnerships between the private and public sectors, the project seeks to support sustainable industrialisation in Africa.

The project builds on a series of Africa–Asia collaboration initiatives undertaken since 2012, expanding earlier partnerships on capacity development, knowledge exchange and business collaboration into a platform for new public and private partnership initiatives.

Future Africa at the University of Pretoria serves as the executing agency in partnership with the Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Tokyo and is responsible for overall project management and grant administration.

The project is supported by the Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Tokyo, which collaborates in advancing research, policy engagement and capacity development to strengthen Africa–Asia partnerships.
