Sustainability Transformations in Africa
The UP-UCT Future Africa Research Chair in Sustainability Transformations (joint initiative between the University of Pretoria and the University of Cape Town) advances transdisciplinary research and dialogues to understand and support the systemic changes needed for sustainability, equity, and justice in Africa. The Chair works at the intersection of science, policy and practice, bringing together researchers, policymakers, practitioners and communities to address complex socio-ecological challenges, strengthen African research leadership, and co-produce knowledge that informs transformative action.
