Bio

Dr Caroline Fadeke Ajilogba holds a PhD and MSc in Biology (2017 and 2014, respectively) from the North-West University (NWU), South Africa. Her first degree (BTech Hons, 1999) in Food and Industrial Microbiology was from the Federal University of Technology, Nigeria. Furthermore, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (2010) from Usman Danfodio University, Nigeria and Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (2019) from the University of Liverpool, UK. Presently she is an interdisciplinary researcher with the Climate, Land, Agriculture, and Biodiversity (CLAB-Africa) project at Future Africa under the African Research Universities Alliance Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Food Systems (ARUA-SFS), University of Pretoria. Her research foci include climate change impact on food systems, crop modelling, public health, and soil-plant-microbe interactions. She has produced over 30 publications in the form of journal articles, conference presentations, and poster presentations. She has also co-supervised 5 postgraduate students.
