Bio
I am a research officer based at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and aligned to the Center for Public Health Research (CPHR). I have more than 12 years of working experience with KEMRI in various capacities as a researcher. My research work entails conducting operational research in Public Health with a special interest in Environmental sciences including Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programmes. Most of my research work has also been aligned to tackling neglected tropical diseases including running and coordinating school-based programs like tungiasis and WASH and their impact on school attendance among school-age children. I have also explored menstrual school hygiene.
