Bio
Dr Kgadi Mathabathe serves as both the Head of Residence at Future Africa, University of Pretoria, and the Head of Community Based Research and Postgraduate Studies at the University of Pretoria's Mamelodi campus. She holds a PhD in Science Education from the University of Pretoria's Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. Dr. Mathabathe brings a wealth of experience in international research collaboration to her roles.
She is an esteemed alumna of the 2016 Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Mandela Washington Fellowship, a renowned six-week program initiated by Barack Obama. Additionally, she has been honored as one of the Mail and Guardian's top 200 young South Africans in the Education category. In recognition of her dedication to teaching and innovative practices in education, Dr. Mathabathe received the University of Pretoria Teaching Excellence and Innovation Award in 2014.
