Bio
Since joining the University of Botswana in 2015, I have published over forty (40) journal articles and book chapters with a multidisciplinary focus. The main theme emerging from the papers is the design of formal and informal institutions for more inclusive growth. My interests include natural resources management, environmental conservation, institutional economics, and sustainable development, among others. My research aims at improving the benefits derived by local communities from their natural resources, such as land and water, through institutions such as Acts, policies, traditions, and customs. This requires the application of social inquiry to understanding local realities.
