Africa Week is the University of Pretoria’s biennial science summit, organised by Future Africa. The 2025 event will be convened under the theme Global Security – Global Africa to reframe and broaden the concept of global security beyond its militaristic confines, uncover its multiple—both hidden and overt—meanings as they manifest across all levels of society, reimagine global security frameworks, and position Africa’s role within global security complexes.
