Research, Development and Innovation
The UNU Hub on REACH-AFRICA focuses on generating research related to the environment, agriculture, land, climate change, and health. Key activities include:
- Scoping studies on water, agriculture, land, climate change, and planetary health vulnerabilities
- Developing digital technologies for real-time environmental and health surveillance
- Developing frameworks for integrating traditional and Indigenous knowledge into research
- Integrating community-based monitoring approaches
- Undertaking research on long-term adaptation strategies
