The UNU Hub on REACH-AFRICA focuses on generating research related to the environment, agriculture, land, climate change, and health. Key activities include:

  • Scoping studies on water, agriculture, land, climate change, and planetary health vulnerabilities
  • Developing digital technologies for real-time environmental and health surveillance
  • Developing frameworks for integrating traditional and Indigenous knowledge into research
  • Integrating community-based monitoring approaches
  • Undertaking research on long-term adaptation strategies
