The West Africa Science Leadership Programme (W-ASLP) was launched during a three-day leadership training workshop from the 21st to the 23rd of July 2019 at the West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP), University of Ghana.
Future Africa-hosted Lancet Countdown Africa explores the cost of heat on birth outcomes
The Lancet Countdown Africa Regional Centre, hosted at Future Africa at the University of Pretoria, partnered with Wits Planetary Health Research to convene a discussion on the health and economic impacts of heat exposure on birth outcomes in Africa, and how evidence can inform policy, investment and climate adaptation.
