Future Africa and the Centre for Viral Zoonoses at the University of Pretoria convened a One Health workshop to strengthen collaboration on zoonotic disease surveillance and pandemic preparedness across Southern Africa.

Professor Wanda Markotter has been reappointed as Future Africa’s One Health Research Chair for a second five-year term, strengthening transdisciplinary research, African collaboration and leadership in One Health across the continent.
