Future Africa and the Centre for Viral Zoonoses at the University of Pretoria convened a One Health workshop to strengthen collaboration on zoonotic disease surveillance and pandemic preparedness across Southern Africa.

Members of the Africa–Europe Cluster of Research Excellence (CoRE) on the Politics of Sustainable Development met at Future Africa, University of Pretoria, to strengthen research collaboration and the joint PhD Programme. The meeting confirmed new joint research initiatives and reinforced commitment to doctoral training and long-term sustainability.

In celebration of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, Future Africa joins the global community in recognising women advancing scientific knowledge and encouraging girls to see themselves as future scientists and research leaders.
