Bio

I am an infectious disease epidemiologist and my research interest focus on the epidemiology, immunoepidemiology, immunomorbidity and control of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in sub-Saharan Africa. I am particularly interested in the epidemiology, diagnosis, design, implementation and evaluation of interventions for prevention, control and potential elimination of helminthic neglected tropical diseases (schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminths and echnococcosis) and how these neglected tropical diseases interact with malaria and HIV-1 infection in causing morbidities.
