Post Graduate Residence

The postgraduate residence at Future Africa offers a tranquil and modern environment with accommodation for UP post-doctoral fellows, PhD, and Master’s students, researchers, as well as visiting scholars of the University of Pretoria. The residence consists of:

194 living units,
61 self-catering, and
133 units with communal kitchen facilities

The residence is situated inside UP’s Hillcrest campus, which boasts 76 hectares of land making it a perfect and safe space for walking, jogging, etc. The residence is also near the UP-Sports Centre gymnasium, the High-Performance Centre, the Hillcrest public swimming pool, the Hatfield Gautrain station (3.1km), Hatfield Campus (3.7 km), Pretoria Botanical Gardens, Loftus Versveld Stadium, the City Centre, Voortrekker Monument Park, and many other local attractions.

Future Africa also hosts a fully furnished Research Commons with 24-hour access and free Wi-Fi. As a resident you will have access to this facility, including:
