Bio

I started my career in the water quality sector at the National Institute of Health Research after obtaining an honours degree in Microbiology & Genetics. I then did an MPH with a focus on Research Ethics because Zimbabwe has a critical skills shortage in Research Ethics. I then worked for the Medical Research Council as National Coordinator for the National Ethics Committee. There, my passion was to build capacity in research ethics within Tertiary Institutions and in Researched Communities. I initiated the IRB Mentorship Programme and the Community Advisory Board ethics training programme.
