Ms Kayleigh Marcus

Bio

Kayleigh Marcus is a PhD candidate in Animal Science at the University of Pretoria, focusing on transforming the genetics sector of the South African beef industry. She holds an MSc in Livestock Production, where she evaluated smallholder pig farming practices in the North West province. As a Research Assistant at Future Africa, Kayleigh has contributed to projects such as CLAB-Africa and FoSTA-Health. Her interests include One Health, livestock production, animal welfare, and food system sustainability.
